Right Whale Festival
Connect with diverse exhibitors focused on marine conservation and education, water recreation and sports, boating and fishing, and other outdoor activities. Unique gifts including fine art, photography and distinctive crafts will be for sale.
The Right Whale Festival appeals to educators and students of all ages. Kids can interact with exhibitors through an passport program which features questions about right whales and other marine species. Experts are on hand to answer questions and share helpful information. Small prizes are awarded to those who complete their passport questions.
This year's after-festival celebration was hosted just a block away from the Seawalk Pavilion at Jacksonville Beach's first microbrewery. Their popular hand crafted "Save the Whale" Imperial Stout on tap was enjoyed by many. Thank you Green Room Brewing for your continued support. 20% of the brew's proceeds were donated to the 2016 Right Whale Festival! Always remember the bonus: the Green Room is dog friendly!
The 9th annual festival will feature live music, exhibits promoting marine conservation with onsite marine mammal scientists, kid's activities, art and unique gifts, a beach clean-up, food trucks, and much more. This free festival takes place rain or shine.
